Oral Presentations Improvements and Monitoring

Courses with oral presentations
CBE 324 - Transport Lab
All students make an oral presentation about practical aspects of chemical engineering equipment (valves, temperature measurement, etc.).
CBE 424 - Operations and Process Laboratory (Summer Lab)
All students present one Informal Experiment orally to a large audience, and are evaluated by their peers and several instructors.  The instructor summary rating is used to ensure that all students achieve an acceptable performance level to be allowed to pass the course. 
CBE 426 - Mass Transfer Operations
Student teams make oral presentations on their group design projects. 
CBE 450 - Process Design
Student teams make oral presentations on their group design projects. 
Instructors assessment of oral presentation skills in CBE 424
New rating on 1-5 scale of all oral presentations in Summer Lab
Used to ensure all students have achieved acceptable performance level
