Specific activities have been identified in several classes that allow evaluation of the level of achievement of the Program Outcomes. These may be particular homework or exam problems, or may be an assessment made by the TA or instructor at the end of an activity. These separate scores may also be part of the course grade, but are recorded separately. These measures were implemented in 2005 and called "Direct Measures". Current ABET parlance calls them "Performance Indicators". Both terms are used interchangeably by our Assessment Team, depending on the background of an audience.
